Our Story

Before soccer and football or UFC, there was Calcio Storico, a sport steeped in history, blood, and tradition. Originating in 15th-century Florence, Calcio Storico is a visceral, high-octane game where players kick, punch, and wrestle their way to victory in a giant sand pit in front of an epic city center duomo church backdrop.

With no substitutions allowed –even severely injured players must soldier on–players really risk their lives for something much more valuable than points: they fight for family, home— literally representing their neighborhoods— and glory in the oldest and bloodiest sport alive.
